Behind the Scenes: Delivering Cannes Lions 2025
This summer has been a busy one for our events logistics team — and we’re only just getting started.
From sporting fixtures to international exhibitions, we’ve been collaborating closely with event teams all over Europe to ensure that key equipment, structures, and seating arrive exactly where they need to be.
One of the most exciting projects so far? Supporting the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025 with a highly coordinated, multi-vehicle delivery from the UK to the south of France.
A high-profile delivery with high-stakes timing
Cannes Lions is one of the world’s most prestigious creative events — and behind the glitz of the red carpet lies a huge logistical operation.
In the weeks leading up to the event, we were tasked with transporting nine full truckloads of modules and fixings from the UK to the festival site.
But this wasn’t a standard multi-drop job.
Each truck needed to arrive:
– In a precise order, aligned with the construction schedule on-site
– At a specific time slot, with only one truck allowed through Cannes at a time
– With a permit issued by the Mayor of Cannes, which allowed access via designated town routes
Needless to say, the pressure was on — but with the right planning in place, our team delivered.
What we put in place
To manage the complexity and keep everything moving smoothly, we provided:
– Live tracking for every truck, so the client had complete visibility
– A 24/7 manned WhatsApp group with drivers, operators, and the event team — creating a clear, direct communication channel at all times
– This real-time coordination meant we could respond instantly if timings shifted, routes changed, or updates were needed.
As the client put it:
“The delivery went as planned , and we are on schedule for the opening of the show on Monday.”

A busy summer of event logistics
Cannes Lions was just one part of a much bigger picture.
Over the same period, our team has also supported:
– 5 trucks for the Paris Airshow
– 2 trucks collecting structures and lighting rigs from the Spanish Grand Prix
– 14 trucks transporting temporary seating to the Cheltenham Gold Cup
– Ongoing work for seating at the British Open
– And planning is underway for deliveries to the Italian Grand Prix in August
– Supporting event teams across the UK and Europe
Whether it’s a last-minute installation, an international build, or temporary stadium seating, our logistics team is used to working in high-pressure environments with no room for error.
If you’re planning an event this year and need a logistics partner who can handle the detail — permits, timings, communication, and all — we’d love to chat.
